REMOVAL OF SOLIDS
Beltfilter

ADVANTAGE

The advantage of this filter is the fact that the solids can be separated in very dry form, without much rinse-water.

HOW IT WORKS

The liquid flows into the filter by a distribution plate. As the filter-cloth is turning, the liquid flows through the cloth. Solids are kept behind in the cloth.

After some time the cloth will tend to clog and as a result the level of the liquid will rise . Then the drum in front of the filter will turn and the cloth will be transported over a short distance and the sludge will be scraped off.

The capacity depends on the kind of dirt, the amount, the meshsize of the filtercloth and the sizes of the filter.

REMOVAL SOLIDS

DEFOSFATING WITH A BELTFILTER

By addition of chemicals is it possible to coagulate solids and to let flocculate phosphate. These flocs are removed by the beltfilter. To do this you should join a mixing-tank and dose-pumps.The following results can be achieved:
  • SS removal up to 96%
  • P   removal up to 84-100%
